Got out for some long overdue fishing yesterday. spent the whole morning on the creek and only saw 2 people when I hit the nearby trail to hike out.
managed to land two wild brookies and lose two more - nothing big, but it was fantastic to just hear the running water and the temps were perfect in the mid 60s with a little sun peaking through the trees.
water was low but cold and clean. managed to keep my flies out of the trees for the most part, which made it even more enjoyables
