Mountaineer I Knife Weight

I noticed the Mountaineer I is listed as weighing 5.50 oz. on the CRK web site. I just weighed mine on a postal scale sheathless without anything inside the handle (i.e. no extra weight), and it's showing 6.90 oz. Any idea?

Not a pressing matter. It's about a 20% difference, so I'm just curious.

Here is what I get.

Weight (Knife only) : 6.8 ounces / 190 grams
Weight (Including sheath) : 9.8 ounces / 274 grams
