Mountaineer II thumb notches?

Does anyone know if the Mountaineer II comes standard with thumb notches?

It does. Single hilt and thumb grooves on the back of the blade, as does the Mountaineer I.

I also have some Shadows III and IV with the same configuration, single hilt and thumb grooves.
