I didn't think that sum birch was quite that long/tall. :thumbup:
It appears to have the same handle as the Ratmandu in overall shape and dimensions...anyone kindly provide a comparison pic or comment on that?

Pretty cool bunch of choppers to use there. 
From my experience it would be in order of 1311 by a sizeable lead, then ASHBM, closely trailed by NMFSH/MMD in a tie, not sure on the DF as I haven't used one.

My NMFSH and Dogfather aren't users but I would agree the 1311 would out chop the others.

I have used 1311, ASHBM, NMFSH (never used a dogfather... Im willing to if you wanna send one my way
) but i think stock, factory, even the NMFSH i had came with an upper hand against the MMD i received.
Im thinking mine may have been a fluke, but my MMD came with a very thick edge that varied in thickness. Im talking all the way up to .09" behind the edge. Naturally, Didnt bite as well as i wanted. With a little edge work, reground/thinned etc, the MMD takes a sizable lead over the NMFSH i have experience with... Granted i kept the factory edge on the NMFSH until i sold it so its not exactly a fair comparison...
BUT.... Id put my MMD, now with better geometry, against an ASHBM with factory edge... Not sure id go as far as the 1311 though. Well id take the challenge regardless... just wouldnt bet the farm... or my knife on it LOL
Then again if need be.. I keep something around for challenges just like that too
