mounted scalpel

Real surgical scalpel blade mounted in a small limb . the blade showing is about 7/8 " I was going to head to the lake to catch a fish or 2 to try it but all hell broke loose around here . I broke off the limb did most of the trimming with the scalpel split it with the scalpel and tied it with inner string from paracord rubed it on a rock to shape the back and for the record it is carbon steel and will throw sparks off a striker on a mag block I won't be batonning it but think I could whittle me a steak off a dead critter with it

I have used a scalpel in the same manner a few times out in the field. Very cool post.

Nice work! Lots of folks have scalpel blades in their kits...but not a lot of folks bother to figure out how to put them to use!
