I've been toying around with this for a while and finally made it work.
Here's what you need:

Esee knife (HEST in my case)
mounting hardwear X2
Maxpedition barnacle or any similar pouch that's mallace compatable.
2 mallace clips (short)
A multi tool with an awl and a Phillips(starhead) screwdriver.
Step 1: remove all the screws from the sheath and mount the Blade tech clips on like so.put 4 more mounting parts in holes that line up with the malace clip holes.

step2:using the awl make the holes big enough to accept the mounting hardwear.

Step 3:Mount the mallace clips to the sheath.they won't line up perfectly straight but their flexibility is the best asset.

Now you should have something that looks like Chtlulu

I prefer to attach the clips with the buckles down.this has a hidden bonus of helping the knife/pouch stand upright so you can get at all the goodies inside easier.
You'll have to work the pouch some to get it on.remember your putting a slightly crooked mount on a straight pouch.Again this has the added bonus of making the pouch very tight to the sheath so it eliminates unwanted movement.

Here she is all loaded up.

Couple the pouch contents with the handle contents of my HEST I have quite a serious survival kit.
Comments and questions are welcome. Thanks everyone for looking.

Sweet! I like it! I carry a barnacle as my wallet. Sometimes I like to carry it alone b/c a purse always ends up full of crap.

That looks pretty sweet. Can you snap a pic of the whole assembly with the pouch mounted and zipped to get a good idea of the overall size?

That is pretty damn slick!! I've never thought about trying to mount the malice clips to the sheath. Great set up hombre!

Thats a nice setup. Ive got a Barnacle mounted on my Pygmy Falcon II's shoulderstrap, but ive thought about turning it into a knife/survival bag combo-thingy.

Thanks for posting.

I might try this with my RC-4, looks like a great setup, like to hear your thoughts after a few days of carrying.

Nice setup. Ive looking for a small bag to store assorted outdoor stuff. The barnacle seems about right

Now you should have something that looks like Chtlulu

First thing i thought was "does it fly :p" but the Cthulu reference is pretty nice too :) Realy should start reading Lovecraft again.

Looks good. Nice and compact to go with the HEST.

I'm trying to put together the parts to get something onto my 3 or 4, but I'm also anxiously awaiting the release of the ESEE packs to see whether what I'm looking for will be satisfied by their release....:D
