i just lost my benchmade griptilian that i got in a trade recently :(. Was walking in the woods with it clipped in my pocket and next thing i know i reach for it and bang its gone. I retrace my steps and try to go back best i can and looked for atleast 2 hours and i cant find it. OD green doesnt show up well in the pinelands i guess :/. I cant truly retrace my steps because i wasnt even on a trail. Goodbye Griptilian, i didnt know you long but you were a great blade :(.
 
That sucks man......I use safety orange para cord lanyards when I go out in the woods, iv still lost one or two but it helps a bit...

R.I.P sir benchmade griptilian the 3rd!

Sorry to hear about your loss.

I actually switched to my 550HG half way through the day.

It really is an amazing knife and such a perfect carry.

I hope you end up getting another.

Lol.. my gf was helping me look too, all we found were ticks.. -.-. She says she wants to buy me something new because she feels bad, not sure what itll be.

Unfortunately Spydies want to be free too, lost my purple Delica in the grocery store parking lot (at least I think that's where it made good its escape) a couple of weeks ago. Replaced it with a brown Delica, but miss the flashier colour.
 
That sucks, but like Jonathan said......great excuse to buy something new! Especially if the GF will chip in:thumbup:
 
If you can think of some areas that had some vines that you whent through look there. I had a Native get pulled out a few times, and twice it stayed hanging on the vine.
