I turned on my band saw this evening and heard an all to familiar sound. Then out plopped a field mouse. This happens about once a week now. I had considered mouse Tartar but am now considering leg bones for small knives.

Anybody ready to switch from human bones to mouse?:D

Wow miniature neck knife handles.
Sounds like you need a cat Peter.I keep a few outside tom cats running around to keep the mice out of the handle material..
Better be careful,Hossum may get mad at us for using mouse Bones:D ;) :D

Hey I seen that in a movie with Sylvester Stallone,They were making Mouse Burgers..Cheap meat Peter.Get out the pellet gun and start popping them,Guess you will have to design a Mouse skinning Blade now:p :D

- squeak! squeaksqueak! ("Ouch! That DID hurt! I could have ended up dead!")

- SQUEAK! ("A-ehm...")

:D :D

Just maybe, a new handle material in the making.

Like the reconstituted gemstone/coral stuff, ground mouse bone cemented into slabs with epoxy.

On second thought, YUK...

I did have a mouse get into my dust extractor which made a lot of loud thumping noises before being converted into something else. All I could find was a small ball of hair outside under the exhaust vent.

Boy I am glad you had that mess and not me..Heck of a final ride though I bet.Maybe that will teach them when you say out you mean out or you will really throw them out.

No, you'd have to use raccoon for that! :)
(Some folks may not get it)

I end up grinding a mouse every now and then when turning something on. Keep mice in the shop for our pet rattler, Leroy.....Ed
PS Guys,
I only wish Ed was kidding!!!!

I am absolutly dying here!! I havent laughed this
hard in days. I just got one thing to say; I had
this atristic idea for MICKEY in the clutches of
a cobra or boa; now I can see him hanging over a
FORGE at Iron Crow!! Crowther will love this one!!:p :p :p

My band saw is also the most often scene of mouse slush. The sounds that arise are rather inspiring. Then the pink colored froth forms on the saw table. One thing nice, when you have more than one mouse, the others will clean it up that night.
