Mouse pad/ sandpaper sharpening & INFI?

I recently got my firs Busse - a GREEN HD and I wonder if using mousepad/ sandpaper method of sharpening will do the job with INFI - because I use this method to sharpen my Howling Rat and it works great with SR 101. I know HD is flat ground and HR is convex, but can it be done without soft mousepad - on a table for example? Will sandpaper work well with INFI?

Sandpaper will work very well with INFI. It takes as fine or coarse of an edge as you want to give it. It sharpens quicker than SR-101, too.

Mousepad and sandpaper will work just as well as on a Rat.
