Has anyone tried this method of sharpening? Does it work well. I've been searching and reading up on this, and trying to figure out if it is a good idea with sebbies/mnandies etc. I have read alot of the posts but can't seem to find the first one, also haven't seen any about it's use on sebbies. What grits do you use. Also how do you avoid scratching the blade?

What grits did you use? Did you raise the spine of the blade to avoid scrathing. Would appreciate any additional info.

I do that regularily on my small seb and all folders plus kitchen knives as well :)
Works very well.
Though still having troubles with some knives, takes longer time...
