Posting a link to Facebook attempting to sell is no different than posting an eBay link, it’s a violation of the Exchange/site rules.

Also, a Gold membership or higher is required to sell on BF’s regardless of sub forum.

Hmm. Ok. I'll abide by the rules. With respect and not that anyone cares, but I feel strongly about not buying a membership until the site allows pic attachments. I work in tech, I know how much server space is. The annual cost of five platinum memberships (let's be real, gold isn't a real option) would probably be about what the storage would cost for everyone. AWS pricing is now $.05/ GB. I'd even be happy to pay for what I store on the size, but for what the memberships cost, combined with the ads, I would really need to see a balance sheet of what the money is being spent on.

Trying to understand your complaint, but not getting it? I attach pics all the time.

There's a tab on the bottom left that says 'Attach files'. I click that, browse my images, select the one I want to attach, and attach it to the post (I also tend to click the "Insert full image" option, so folks don't have to click the thumbnails to see the pic).

Attaching pics in that fashion (directly from your computer or phone) is a perk of a paid membership, which he does not currently have.



He may not know that.


If he does, then this complaint is even more strange as Gold is clearly plenty sufficient to sell and would render the first request to upgrade redundant and the second not really any of his or our business.

It is not a direct correlation between cost of membership and expense of benefits.The benefits of a paid membership are perks(as benchwarmer said). With a gold you can post photos directly, sell, PM, and you don't get ads. But most importantly you support the site, so there is a site to come to-do matter what your interests are.
