Did anyone notice the SAK on Tom Hanks key ring? When he got it back upon his return to civilization he looked at it whistfully. You know it would of made his life alot easier on that island. Semper Fi, Ray Rinehart

LOL!
My wife and I went to see that movie at the theater, and as he handed his keys to his girlfriend we both cringed and said, "Ohhhh, he's gonna wish he hadn't DONE that!"

Welcome to BFC!

same thought went through my mind when i watched the movie, he used a fire plough to start a fire, a somewhat advanced technique, would take you some time to learn that also.

I wonder how many non-knife people even noticed that scene.

I literally said "That was a Big Mistake." during that scene...thought that using the ice skate as a hatchet/knife was smart though. Also, there was probably a cell phone in that package he never opened...lol

All those packages lost by mail and UPS by knife knuts over the years are probably on some deserted island somewhere waiting for the lucky stiff who gets washed up on it....

If you're the one, pls keep a look out for my Camillus EDC, BM330, and BM Panther...
