Movie knives - impractical but cool!

Hello all,
just thinking about the various cool knives in some movies, specifically the OTF auto that Olivier (schell) carried strapped to his forearm in Marathon Man, the two OTF / sideopener auto's that the butler had strapped to his forearms in Hudson Hawk (i know, bad film, but i liked it.), and the stilleto auto that Donald Sutherland had in a spring loaded forearm carry in The eye of the needle.

Each are probably as impractical as the Kurgan's 3 piece broadsword from Highlander,
but they look so cool!

Does anyone know who made any of these things, or anyone who offers such items for sale, even as a gadget/gimmick, as i don't think i am quite skilled enough to make such an item myself yet.

cheers,
leonc.

How about Wolverine's implanted spring-bladed assembly?

Man, that looked very painful, but cool...

Xavier, er I mean Brandon

I don't know about you guys, but I want one of those wrist-crossbows that were used in the movie, The Road Warrior.

and the knife thing from Predator.

Star Wars light sabre. Better than my EDC balisong!

Hi Guys!

In the movie Hannibal, Starling pulls a MOD Hornet, at least I think it is one, to cut Hannibal loose. That is a cool knife. I have not been able to identify the hawkbill blade that Hannibal uses, but thats pretty cool too.

Acrobatic Gerber MkII demo in "Alien 2" was really cool. Put your "victim" s hand on the table, place your hand on it, then thrust the knife in between fingers as fast as possible....
