I watched "missing " with Tommy Lee Jones to-day and I was glad to see something . People had real knives in the movie . These knives didn,t look like they were made by elves in a magical forge at midnight on a full moon . L:O:L
Tommy Lee Jones played a man who had adopted Indian ways and the indirect translation of his name was " $hit for luck " While his knife was not a complete indication of this it was nice to see a major star with a basic working mans knife . It appeared to be both pinned and peened to a section of antler . Now this knife was functional and in truth saved his characters life in the movie . It was just nice to see knives that reflected what a working man might bang together for himself .
