Hi, guys.
Just saw the movie Taken with Liam Neeson.
Great knife fight at the end. Does anyone recognize the knife the bodyguard is using. Curved sort of like a scimitar but more like a claw shape.
Good movie if you like action.

I guess it's possible to there's a Blade-Forums-posting knife enthusiast that was part of a test audience, and recognized the knife?

Just going off your description, have you looked around at different Karambits for a match?

I'm really looking forward to seeing that movie myself.
 
I"ve seen it too, it was released in other countries first apparently, I ummm "aquired" a copy to view, not bad. Not sure what the karambit is at the end, but it was nice looking, the knife fight was just so so, but the movie overall was excellent.
 
a really good copy has been available for well over a month.
 
yea really good movie.. this wouldn't be the only movie you guys are late on...

I saw dark knight, transporter 3, Notorious, Taken and Bride Wars already... some now available in North-America, but for the most, I saw these movies 2-3months before they were even released in the states.
 
Great movie.
As I recall it was a cord wrapped karambit. Looked like a movie prop and not a production knife to me.
