Does this mean you sharpen all your knives while watching Machete and Machete Kills? (strangely enough I haven't seen either movie)

And no I don't sharpen my knives while watching movies or shows. A lot of times they are subtitled and well it's kind of hard watching the show/movie and reading the subtitles and making sure your hand doesn't slip up and wind up with a lot of stitches.

Wow yes I can see how that could be dangerous for you. I do mine free hand with a tiny, super fine grit stone. I rarely cut myself. I think its been about 2 years since I had a cut that I had to tape up but that is because I didnt yet know how to sharpen a convex. Note to self, Do not watch foreign movies and sharpen knives.
P.S. I sharpened my friend's machete because he asked me to.

I have not done that. I try to be focused and not distracted when sharpening. It is too easy to slip a little bit.
