Well....... I may have totally lost my mind now. I posted up last weekend about how I'd progressed up to the Benchmade stage of knifenutness. My 730 instantly became a constant carry, and then it happened. My Camillus 125th Anniversary Edition EDC arrived. It reminded me how much I love frame locks. The Axis is simply amazing, but I guess I'm one of those dodgy minimalism freaks. I love a well executed, yet simple design. Don't ask me why. Maybe I'm getting old and set in my ways at the ripe old age of just 34.

Anyways, my boss arrived with my paycheck today, and gave me an extra one. It was a retroactive paycheck that I hadn't been expecting. So it was basically "found money", which demands to go to you know what hobby. I instantly hit the exchange forum and set myself up for a large Classic 2000 Sebenza.

I just crave frame locks and wanted something larger than a Camillus EDC for the weekends. The check was nice, but not quite nice enough to get one of Darrel's custom jobs. And after Bugs3X's somewhat controversial conclusions on the Seb, I had to see if the Seb lovin' feeling fell upon me.

So here I sit, staring at pictures of the Seb, and waiting impatiently for a box to arrive on my doorstep. And as I sit, I wonder whether I've hit a new level of knife nirvana..... or whether I've finally lost what little mind I have left.

After reading your first paragraph I was going to say that your next step would be to Microtech's.
I see however you just went straight to the really expensive stuff.
ENJOY! and welcome to the poorhouse!

You know you only crave more and more expensive stuff from here, right?

... after the thrill of the Sebenza wears off ... ?

Never happen. You may have just saved yourself a LOT of money. Now you won't have to buy another knife, and most of them won't seem worth buying anyway.
