Moving knives

As some of you may know I'm moving to the East Coast.....away from Don :( but closer to John :D ( Hey it ain't no guy-loving kinda thing! :rolleyes: )....although Don did say I had a nice butt..I disgress...

Last night I had a difficult choice to make. How to move my knives?I would like to send them through main checked in luggage, but have decided to send them locked-tight with the movers!
Any suggestions , words of advice.

Ordinarily I would not be second guessing myself but we do live in an unordinary time right now

I called ya a one-eyed something or other. I knew I was right about that but I didn't realize your hearing was so bad also!

I must have been talking about your financee!

My take on your move is that Canada has had enough of your act and they booted you!

How are you moving that seeing eye dog?
 
Hilton -

Buy a small gun box, and pack 'em in that. They're lockable, fireproof, and it'd take a while for someone to try and cut into it. Also, get some foam padding, and make templates for your knives - only takes a few seconds with an X-acto. That way, they're more secure, and you can stack them better inside the box.
 
Wait a minute! We're letting you into the US??? Does W know about this? Why weren't we consulted?

If it were me . . there would be one large, heavily insured, well padded Pelican case going as checked luggage. But that's just me. :)

Glad to have ya on this side of the continent buddy. :D
