Looks like we will be moving 1 June.:D Our house sold before it hit the market and were off to Oregon. We will be locating in the Salem area, be in Ray's back yard. Now all I have to do is get my equip moved,  The Press and Hammer will be a challenge then there is the mill and the surface grinder and the compressor and the anvil and post vise and grinders and handle material and 2 tons of steel. Wholly S**T. I havn't even gotten into the house yet......... Guess I know what I'm doing the next 2 months. not to mention the Eugene show. My son is graduating from college 20 May in San Diego. We wil be loggin in the miles.::jerkit: I will have to have a BBQ up there when i get set up. One requirement for the new house is a SHOP for me. :D  No more garage and outdoor forging for me.

Chuck,

If you get a chance to hang out when you are in SoCal, shoot me a PM, would love to be able to show some hospitality.

Best Regards,

I do not cherish the thought of moving either. We were used to moving every 2-3 years while I was in the Navy. It has been 10 years since our last real move so the accumulation has been overwelming. Taken 10 trips to the scrap yard and more to the dump. Friends and students have bee making out like bandits with all the stuff i don't want to deal with later and given away.

Steve, thanks for the invite, we are going to be on a pretty tight schedule while in S.D. Momma has us going going going and then running back home. I wish I could take some time to relax. If I can possibly break away for a few hours I'll drop you a line.

Chuck

Thanks Don

We'll be looking for a place when we go up for the Eugene show. Probably will have to take a couple more trips to move and find jobs and house.

I will let you all know whats happening and update my profile.

heck the back is gone. DOne been cut on and made it worse. Just deal with the pain and numbness. Won't stop me from forging though. While working I usually don't have a prob. It's later when I can't sleep (like now) when it bothers me.

For you youngns take it from us old farts, save that back it will pay off in the long run.

Hi Chuck,

This is what i get for procrasinating on meeting you...you move away.lol
really sucks...for me. Congrats for you tho!!

The housing market here is a bit wierd isn't it. Some move before they even hit the market and others sit unsold for months.

I have to go down and help my dad move up to Washington. I'm really not looking foward to that. Dad's a packrat and everything he has is a jewel in the rough.:D
