Hey guys, if any of the local Norfolk, Portsmouth, Va Beach, etc. folks can lend a hand Sunday (May 24th) at 10AM I have three pieces of equipment to move into the new shop from the old woodshop. It is a big bandsaw, a drill press, and a table saw that goes on a trailer. Four to six guys will make this a 30 minute easy job. Let me know if you can help. I will be having a knifemakers pick-fest later on and those who have been helping will get first pick at excess equipment and supplies. Some of the stuff may be available Sunday.
There will be thousands of dollars in free stuff that I just don't have room for or have too much of, so helping me now now may be good for you later. All who have helped work on the new shop will be invited to the big shop opening BBQ extravaganza when it gets done later this summer. The pick-fest will be then.

BTW, I have two 6 foot work benches with storage below up for grabs that day. They are white laminated surfaced, solid one piece units that will slide into the back of a pickup truck or on a trailer.

Once the equipment is moved, I will start the demolition on the old woodshop, and when it is down we will have a 3-4 hour workday to put it in a dumpster in a week or two. We may have a Beer and BBQ lunch to finish that day. Again, there may be free stuff there.

Stacy, I sure wish I was closer, or even younger back when I was riding bikes. Back then I'd do a 600 mile round trip ride just to go for a day's ride with friends. Looked and it's only around 900 miles to your place - a good day's ride (back then) {g}. But, that much riding is now gone, and sold Goldwing at 72 yr old due to bad knees 'n back.

Good luck with the moving stuff.
