Just sealed the deal on a nice country place about 25 miles from the nearest town up in the mountains of northern CA. My grandmother has 600 acres of forest and farmland down in southeast Texas about 9 miles from town and ever since I can remember I've wanted to move out of the city. I'll finally have a place to let loose with all my favorite choppers on a daily basis (or at least as often as my pathetically weak arms will allow). I'll also be saving a lot of money, well I guess saving isn't the right word but I'll have a lot more money for knives!

Sounds greats!! Where in Texas exactly?

Sorry, I just reread my post and realized it was misleading and edited it. I'm still in CA but at least where I'm moving the sheriff only comes around once a week :)

Congrats, that is my dream, hopefully some day. Make sure to post pics beating on those choppers

Good for you Dan

Too bad you still can't own knuckle knives :(

Least youll be able to get your CCW up there in the boondocks if you havent allready. If you arent moving up there yet, its time to move your official place of residence at least. ;>

That's sounds pretty great! Hopefully someday I can talk the wife into giving country life a shot!

That's low Mark... Neither can I... :( :p

You will have wished that you had made this decision long ago. Your arms will build up with all the work and play that comes with country living, and any city fat will become a memory.

Congrats Dan ! Country living is great . Remember to post some pics of your piece of heaven ;)

HOLD MY BEER AND WATCH THIS !

When I meet Pokey at Blade and sweep her off her feet we are going to move to the country...the Country of Costa Rica or Ecuador and live on the Beach. :)

That's great. For a few years as a kid we lives in the desert near Barstow, literally in the middle of nowhere. It would take some acclimation as an adult (perhaps not too much?), but for kids, wow nothing was better than just open freedom.
