Messieurs,

Yes, as Dave told, I bought a house for the family and we will move the
Week after easter.

And there is space enough to show all my toys I have.

Also there is a outhouse that is large enough to build in a smithy. I'm glad to be able to forge my knife blanks for the knifes in the future by myself.

The first boxes we packed for the move. The six boxes with the M contain the knive collection.

That is a beautiful house. Just make sure that you don't lose any of those "M" boxes.

Wow Herbert,

That is one sweet home your family will be happy in for sure. Also keep posting photo's of your move and the new resting place of your collection!

Lovely place!!

Is that third story a finished attic? I love those.

I'm thinking what you call an outhouse means something else here in the States.

:D

Grundstueck? A basement? Great looking place, it seems like lots of big rooms inside. I like that upstairs balcony, too.

yes to explain better
what you (haebbiea) are calling a outhouse is what we here call
- shed (most times) and work shops, storage bulding,
sometimes if a distance they are called out buildings or detach building, or barns
an out house is here is like a out door bathroom

my friend they are wonderful pictures of you new house!
your sheds and soon to be work shop will take a bit of work
to get the vines off them!
yes keep us posted ...

Yes, Sirs, I love that house. It was a hard job to find one like that.
It is build in 1908. The signboard on the first picture means:
for sale
two family house (but we use it allone)
with a parcel of land
BG, the half of the third story is finished. The kids wants to have their rooms upstairs.
May be that I dind't find the korrect word. The second building was a garage, but is used as a workshop. And I like to use it as a blacksmith's.
Yes, Esav, There are a lot of big rooms with high ceiling (11 feet).
The balkony is great, but also the bay downstairs.
Please, guys, cross your fingers to get the move over and done witout complications.

Best,
Haebbie

I have only the greatest admiration for our members who speak and write in two languages.......I have enough trouble with one.

(Although I am proud to say I can read Dave with some success.)

:)

Incidentally, while "outhouse" refers to a detached commode, there is a term "outbuilding" which refers to a separate structure outside the main building -- factory or house.

Habbie, Wish you the best of luck with your move . We've been here seven years and still finding stuff we thought was lost . DM ;)

Very nice looking house you have there. Thank You for sharing the pictures with us. Good luck with your move.
