These #'s Aren't Exact ,but I Have A Lot At My Forge.
After I Forge Them Down They Seem To Get Harder .

I once got a few lawnmower blades from a family friend.
He wanted me to make him the first knife so I got to work right away.

But I never could get my lawnmower blade to get hard in the quench.
Some of the expert around this forum have told me that many lawnmower blades of made of a steel they will not make a good knife ever.

Im not sure how to tell if one can, I think there is a trick with the sparks?
