For those Firefox users here's a nifty addon. There's a lot of times when looking at an item's printed dimensions we have to convert metric to imperial or vice versa. I have this addon sitting down on the status bar and with one click converts all dimensions and currency to inches etc and U.S. dollars. Saves a lot of time picturing the dimension of knives and flashlights or what have you in your preferred measuring system. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/2286

Here's a sample: 13mm 5cm 44km 33€

One click and here's what you see on the page:
13mm (13 mm = 0.512 in) 5cm (5 cm = 1.97 in) 44km (44 km = 27.3 mi) 33€ (33 EUR = 45.4 USD)

Absolutely terrific!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wonderful device! id prefer fractions but that is good enough!
It has that option but I can't get it work. It worked when I first installed it but I changed over to decimal fractions and now it won't allow me to change it back to fractions. :grumpy:

The add-on, depending on what it does, should be available by right clicking on the mouse when you're browsing a web page.

To change settings on your ADD-ONs, click on the TOOLS drop-down menu located on the top left corner of your browser window.
Click on the ADD-ONs options.
From there you'll get a new window opening up with all of your ADD-ONs listed.
Just click on one of them and on the left side you'll see the OPTIONs button and on the right side you'll see the ABLE/DISABLE and UNINSTALL buttons.
Click the OPTIONS button to adjust settings.
