Mp3 Question - Possible to put "tracks" on one long MP3??

I have a CD that a Dj friend mixed, it has one track that is about an hour long. I was wondering if it was possible to put invisible "tracks" on it so that I can fast forward every ten minutes or so and I don't have to listen to it from the beginning every time.

There are such softwares. Do a Google search and I'm sure you'll find them.

sorry to bump up an old thread. in any case, from what i know the best way to do it would be to convert it to .wav (plenty of software that can do that, probably freeware) and then use a wav editing program (soundforge comes to mind but i'm sure it's overkill). I would imagine that you could get a program that would make it relatively intuitive. as dePaul said, google. also, a tip that comes in handy a lot is when someone else already asked the question, got the answer, and there's a link to the software that you need.
