Mr Becker make a 12" bk9

I wish a 12-14 inch bk9 could be made. Everything the same just increase the length. I would definitely buy one and I would be prepared to get after market sheath and scales if needed.

Anybody else think it would be a nice idea?

I love the Nine and tend to think it takes care of an awful lot of problems around camp and trail.... When you get out of the roughly 9 - 10 inch blades I tend toward the 20 or 29 and if a bigger womp is needed the Reinhardt whomps with the best of them..... A 12 inch Combat Bowie has been considered and with the other choices in the family it would be a bit of a stepchild with maroon hair and one too many bad tattoos..... Not that it would not work well but, that branch of the family is getting a bit crowded in the old spare bedroom..... Good idea but, not likely soon....

I wouldn't be able to get a 20 or 29, the 21 is I'm sure a winner but not sure if I want a kukri.

I like the appeal of an Ontario 12 inch machete but that takes work to bring it right.

I had a kaKar cutlass but thought it would've been better with a sabre grind. It did chop well though.

Shame that the Becker knives I like the look of bk5 bk15 bk4 patrol machete aren't made anymore. I will bide my time and hope something comes up in the future.
