Just watching "Full Contact" and although it is not the best Chinaman gansta flick movie out there it's got two of my fave things. Chow Yun Fat and Balisongs. I was VERY surprised how much Balisong there is in this movie. Usually Balis are in the 'bad guy's' hands (but what is good and bad in a chinese gangsta flick right?

), or for show in a 5 second comedy routine.

Now I feel a hunger for a clip bowie china cheapie and a stainless baretta M92F

(too bad that dixie knife works although they have great pins only have 3 inch blades) anyone have any 'non mainstream' clip bowie chrome charming chinas. Prefereably old school Japan blades?

and this my friends is why Balisongs are illegal in the free world. MR. CHOW YOURE MY HERO!

I just wanted to note too that I think we here at the bali forums are too good at swinging these damn knives

there was one scene where Mr. Chow was supposed to be swingin g his knife in a 'macho' fashion.. I thought it looked really stupid. repeated SLOW double flip opening (no offense to my god, Chow), - which got me thinking I bet some of the gunslinging stuff and martial arts they have in some movies must ooo and ahh me but just makes experienced martial artists laugh

Hey Snipe,I know some people in the stunt biz.All that stuff that they do is supposed to be exaggerated. It's more theatrical martial arts.If it's not, the audience would not be able to appreciate it.On the big screen, the practical stuff looks boring. So, yeah..I think the experienced martial artist would laugh at some of the moves done in those movies.

To my surprise, I've heard of "movie MA" course from my friend karate master who is learning movie making at the college.
The teacher teaches HOW TO fight in that funny way!
