Well the folder has gotten plenty of attention. Sooo your thoughts on the skull tool? I see myself loosing this thing if I don't get a lanyard or something on it. Kinda like my mittens as a kid!!! This dosent attach to the HEST does it? I'm not sure I see a use for some of the cutouts but that's probably just me. Well I guess it will fit in my Altoids tin at least....

I think that one above me is the limited edition, here's the "standard" one I'm getting;

The cutouts are for removing the pocket clip and I think tightening/loosening the Roto Lock (Roto Block?)..I still don't know how the hell it works, but I guess I'll find out. Without a sheath I don't know how I'll carry it. I see someone bending some kydex when these are released and making a few bucks...

Does anyone know what's with the brass colored insert is on the limited edition? That's just a render, so I don't know if the physical peice will have it..

Have there been any pics released of the actual tools yet?

I'm still trying to figure out what's what on the tool. I like it and will use it as a lanyard fob I think or as noted I'll lose it.

-the left "eye" is for the removal tightening of the glass breaker/clip mount I think
-the "hair" is for tightening the pivot.

What's the right "eye" designed to fit? Seems I want to put my lanyard through there or the mouth?

Although I can see the tool's cutting edge playing heck with my truck/machine seats/clothes if I am not careful. Maybe as DH1 said it'll have a spot on a Kydex sheath.

Yea that makes more sense with the "hair" adjusting the pivot...I think the roroblock is operated by hand.

There is no brass insert in the final tool. But the idea is that you can use these for box cutters, decoration or just leave em in a box for tightening. We sell em as chisel points but you can sharpen them. The First Run version is titanium, the regular production is stainless steel. They are supposed to be fun and we will be doing more of them. Always different so you can collect em, trade em or just cut with em

lanyard or neck string can go through the nose or eye. They are to have fun with and to swap out the glass breaker and tighten the pivot when needed. I just use my thumb to adjust the pivot

I for one am really glad to hear that. As much as I love titanium I wasn't to excited about using my LE one as a blade or scraper. I was hoping I could pick up a steel one separately.

I agree with you, I was hoping to "collect them all" so to speak :p yes yes my childhood geekiness is shining. I did enjoy the aesthetics of the brass eye inlet, but oh well I can't complain lol, I love it regardless :p
