Steve?

I know you had a time crunch and sent tuition $ to Ram out of your own pocket recently. (Typical.)

Isnt' it about time for the Benefit? Do you need donations of blades for your listing?

Can we just send you money, instead?

C'mon, help us help.

Thank you, Sir.

Ain't got enough homemade knives to make a good batch, but I'll scrape up what I can, and I've got other blades I can pitch in the pile. Git 'r done.

Sarge

I've got a bunch of very sweet khukuris that have been donated over the last few months. Everything is good to go. Just gotta take some pics and as Sarge says "Git er done"

Should send out an email by this weekend.

If any of you new guys are interested and aren't on the mailing list, drop me an email. That's about the extent of what we can discuss here.:)

Is that awl with the YCS actually pointy??? Did the kamis finally started making them that way? :) I always thought the broken tip had a certain amount of charm...

Those are some sweet looking khuks. This is going to be a great raffle... and as always, for a great cause!!

Hey Steve?

How's this going?

Inquiring minds need to know.

Hi Kismet,
Actually a little slowly. We've raised $500 of the $2200 that it will cost Ram for his tuition this semester. Half of that was from one generous forumite. I'm hoping now that the end of the month has come and gone, more will be coming in.
Thanks for asking.

Did this go out to the e-mail list? I never got an e-mail notice like I did in the past. If others weren't notified either that may be why things are going so slowly this time.

Howard and all,
I'll be sending out an update tonight. If you don't receive it, please email me.

Thanks!
Steve

Over $1200 raised for Ram's college! Thanks guys and gals. You're the best!

1. Aproy - Samsher by Bura
2. Wyrm - 20" Hill walnut handled Jange by Sher
3. Berkley - Cherokee Rose
4. Aardvark - katana
5. Andrew Taylor - 20" Sirupate
6. Bri in Chi - Yvsa Cherokee Special

Really worthwhile cause.

(For your general information development: Aardvarks live in Africa, south of the Sahara desert.
It builds three types of burrow: one for food, other ones for resting and hiding in and permanent ones where it gives birth.
It can dig a metre-deep burrow faster than a team of six people digging with shovels... handy when escaping from predators such as leopards.
Aardvark burrows can be up to 13m long. That's the same length as a bus.)

Depends on the type of bus, donit? (SCSI, IDE, SATA, etc).

I've made my wishes known to the esteemed Mr. Ferguson.

Aardvarks are said to be delicious panfried, with mint jelly. (poor things).

A good cause indeed. Congrats to the winners. I had a very strong feeling that the Samsher, Jange and Rose would be the first three picked. You guys have great taste. ;)

Its a curse. Great taste, I mean.

Thanks for the raffle Steve. Let us know if you need more help with Rams tuition.
