Mr. Glesser, I Have a Few Questions

Mr. Glesser, I was hoping you could answer a few questions for me.

1. When are the blue FRN Delicas due out?

2. Have you given any thought to producing the Native in G10 as a production piece? I personally feel it would be a great seller.

Hi JMB.

1. The blue Delicas are either out now or will be very shortly. I received production samples last week. Very nice pieces.

The Blue Delica is the model that the Swedish climbing team took to the top of Everest several years ago.

Regarding a G10 Native. At this time, probably not. Too many models and variations of models drive the distributors and dealers crazy. That's why we do "sprints". Small runs that do not require catalog or advertising promotions.

I think the Native "Pride" in G10 would be more likely. At least as a "Sprint"

Thanks. I'll start looking for one (or two) of the blue Delicas and keep my fingers crossed for a sprint run of Natives in black G10.

Hi JMB. We did a "Sprint" of Black G10 Natives with shell inlay. Beautiful piece. Probably still some available.

Hi Bob. No plans yet on a the larger Native.

Hey Sal, I remember the pic of that large Native that was up here a long while back, it looked like it had a beautiful 4" blade. I hope if and when Spyderco sprints this one, it'll have that full sized blade and solid black scales. It definitely looked to be in the same class as the Military and Police models.

Mr. Glesser,

Actually I do have one of the blue shell inlay Natives. That's what gave me the desire for a plain black G10 version. I just can't bring myself to use or carry the inlay version, it's too darn nice!
