It takes a bit of time to sort things out and then to get photos taken of the lot. My first instinct was for the pearl handled folder, such a classy knife, but I could not take my eyes off the sowbelly it just spoke to me so much so that was what I settled on out of this entire batch. And this batch is becoming cumbersome and of substantial weight !!! I am not sure how to contend with that?

So from the package I took this Case Sowbelly,

I then took the shield and bolsters to a scotchbrite pad to clean up the carry marks and now looks like this, it's an easy way to maintain your bolsters.

And I am adding a few things, knife wise this very nice san mai fixed blade

which includes a well made leather sheath and a bobtail fob that I added

also for that pearl handled congress folder, I made a nice soft leather slip sheath.

And a nice wooden storage/display box that I am packing the knives for shipment, but keep in mind THIS box is part of the package and is something that you can select for your own knives to store.

and here are some more knives that are packed up

Wow. Awesome contributions.

The last time it passed through my hands, there were almost enough knives to make two packages and drawings. A little added cost for the first drawing of two. Not sure if there is enough interest to keep two drawings going.

Thanks, they did a very nice job with the sheath they provided, I was impressed with how well it is made.

Thanks, the sowbelly has a well worn feel to it that makes it easy to drop into my watch pocket.

I have contacted the fellows who were carried over from the last giveaway to make sure they were still interested and several have stepped back from this go around and I have removed them from the list.

One other thing to consider, that slip sheath that I made isn’t married to the pearl handled folder, so if you end up getting this package you can take just the leather slip and leave the folder, if it’s something that you can use for your own knife.

Edited to add that I have started thinning/flattening the main blade as it is a bit thick behind the edge and as you can see the blade is not evenly ground.
Using a 400 grit diamond plate and by hand working to do the job

And the other side the blade has a hollow area in the middle
All this takes a lot of time and is inherently dangerous but I think it will end up worth the trouble having a blade that cuts through easier.
