Hey y’all! I picked up the box yesterday, kinda skimmed the contents last night! I’ll update this thread tonight in the usual format, keeping the list from the last one. I wanted to get a jumpstart, however, to poll an idea from the last thread. Since D Doorsandfloors came back into contact after the winner was drawn, a few members suggested sending the box to them next. I have no qualms about it, I just want to make sure that everyone feels the decision is fair! So vote in the poll, the options as I see it are:
A) Send doors and floors the box next
B) Run a random drawing as usual but give them two entries
C) Run a normal drawing (no special entries)
D) Split the box again and send one to them, one to a new winner

I’ll update this thread tonight, after work, thanks again!
I’m gonna leave the poll up for now, I plan on drawing next Tuesday, but if there’s more or less interest this time, I’ll adjust accordingly!

Ok, time for number 55!

Here’s what the box had when I opened it!

Here’s what I decided to take:

The Roberson Pen knife, I’m a sucker for single spring littl’uns!
The case pen knife, hoping to do something cool with this!
The opinels, to mod into a couple ideas I’ve had!
The leather slip, and opinel keychain?, the slip is for the Roberson to ride in, the keychain my fiancé showed an interest in, so it went to her!

And finally, these are what I’m putting in the box, with two surprise entries not shown!

-Case small toothpick, black micarta, old school case with great fit and finish, I think I have the box as well, it’s unused.
-Case mini trapper, unused by me, looks like it was carried but again great older case finish!
-Cool double backlock moore maker, needs a good cleaning, but pretty interesting worker of a knife
-AKC Leverletto in Buffalo horn. Nice finish, well put together, locks solid, and 440c stainless! I’ve carried it and played with it but it’s not been used to cut with. Honestly surprised me with how well it’s done!
- Schrade Bear Claw, older stainless, I e cleaned it up but otherwise it’s tough and ready to go, actually nice to carry as it has a lanyard hole
-Plus a couple other rather unique additions, but I’d like those to be surprise, however the box is sent off!

The gift that keeps on giving, why not break it up? and have two happy members. im sure at its current growth rate, its a medium flat rate box probably
 
Given the size of the box when I sent it off I could easily see this split into 2 and shipping is getting up there on the 1 box so might help going forward with it split on the cost down the line. Otherwise I would say double entry for him would certainly be suitable.

yup, costs work out about the same roughly, thats what i was getting at
 
It was little over $16 for me in the box I used hadn't checked rates but splitting it up would give some smaller options on the following round(s)
 
Ha yeah have two happy members! HAHA 😂 I’m going to add a cool knife, maybe two. But one of them, I want to stay with the box… but what ever I just think this is going to be real cool and get big! You guys are awesome.
 
Keep it as one box. It will get richer and smaller as time passes. That keeps people interested. If you haven't done a drawing yet, pass it on to doors and let him draw for the next one.
 
Wonder if the recipients have gotten their packages yet also should we start digging up names from the last 50+ rounds and tag all those folks in the new boxes to get some more excitement into this?
 
I have not received the package yet. I checked Monday. I was hoping it would arrived today. I live in a rural area, Where our addresses are tied to a post office box? It’s weird. I hope it’s here today, i’ll let you know as soon as I receive it.
 
Hey y’all, I’m sorry about the delay, we run a family business and a sickness has kept us short handed. I’ve been running nonstop for the last week, I promise my intentions were not to take forever! I have shipped one, the other has had an issue with the address not coming up in the USPS system. I have emailed both of the recipients and hopefully can get the address problem rectified! Thanks again and I apologize for the delay!
 
I know how it goes I didn't have half the excuses and still struggled to actually get the package out myself.
