A bump and a talk about what I selected and put into the mix which is long overdue but I have had a busy week plus some.

There were plenty of cool and interesting knives but in the end what really struck me was the small case with the what appears to be celluloid faux pearl scales, the Buck 110 light, a medium( at least to me) size SAK, and a pruner/garden knife. I typically don't like Case knives in the long term they just don't tend to hold an edge well enough but this seemed like a great light duty office friendly pocket carry for me. I don't have a Buck 110 mostly because I never liked the heft to a normal one so the light was nice when I handled it so makes a nice add to my knife options. I mostly selected the SAK for my son though not sure my wife will let him have it but it seems a nice selection of tools and he does have a SAK classic but this guy is a good size up all around. I pulled out the garden/pruner knife as she likes to garden so it might be a good one for her to use when ever we have garden and small plants again. I also grabbed the little flash light as I don't have a good small flash light just need to get a ring for it so I can add it to my keychain when I want. The little flag pin I gave to the boy as well he has some pins so thought he might enjoy having that. I call her my wife and him my son but neither is technically correct at the time I am typing this but that will change this Saturday which will explain why I have been busy and why the timing of winning the last round was pretty awesome for me.

I have had a few knives laying around that just didn't hit me for my collection several were just given to me others I have had for a long time but not used in many many years others just couldn't connect with so better to pass it on.

I got the Boker congress thinking I would love it but it just never really connected for me so that one hopefully will be a great one for someone who gets this box down the line. I was given that branded SAK classic but the classic isn't for me and just sits in a box so it needs a new home. The Old Timer is really the one that kind of connects but just wasn't finding a home here anymore I have had that since before I could try, more than 20yrs, it will need some love but I think someone here will appreciate it. I picked up the electricians knife at a flea market and it was nice but the heft just made me not really feel it so time for a rehome. The next set of knives were just ones people had gotten with no or little connection themselves to them and they gave them over to me but I just kind took them in handles looked over but never really wanted any of them or connected with them myself. The Tennessee Titans knife is cool for a fan or the team or sport maybe but it is just a typical cheap decorative knife from what I see of it then a Water Fowl giveaway multitool knife with back locks for the 2 blades and a saw in the middle it is a neat tool. The 2 Ducks Unlimited are nice Imperial Ireland was stamped on the blades and one has a serrated or partial serrated blade I forget.

Our winner has only posted on the Porch twice, and only is this Pass Around thread... might be a while before he checks in again.

I see that too... still only been a day so will see. I will make sure our winner also fully understands the way this works too just incase there might be any misunderstandings about it.
