So I think like everyone else I've gotten here by a convoluted route, mine involved a youtube video review of a jetboil pcs.

Checking out the other video's there was one on neck knives which turned out to be the Izula and a Becker... as soon as I saw the Izula I was hooked pretty like most of you have been, then the collecting instinct kicks in and you *need* more from the range.

Anyways, it happens to be my wife's birthday this Thursday so I ordered her an Izula Pink mainly for her use in the garden, harvesting the veggies and tidying up etc. and a black kit for myself.

This all happened to coincide with the pre-orders for the HEST F so I was lucky enough to get my name down for one of those too.

Next will be an RC-4 just can't decide between the black/linen or od/orange...

Great forum you all have here, I think I've read back from the end a hundred or so pages with 154 to go and a couple of things stand out, first the stellar service provided by the ESEE guys and second how much this is a real community. So I look forward to sticking around and sharing my collection/tales with you as they grow.

Thanks,
Chunk

Welcome to the forum.

I can attest that ESEE's are an addiction, at last count I think I have 14. As with you mine started with the innocent Izula and progressed all the way to the Junglas and Lite Machete.

Although I haven't been here long, I can tell you there are a lot of experts here and most are more than willing to share their vast knowledge. Experts not only when it comes to knives, but survival techniques as well.

To top it off, Jeff and Mike of ESEE are regular posters here. How much better can it get when you can actually "speak" to the owners of the company, and they are happy to reply and address your concerns.

One word of advice, stay away from the For Sale section of this forum, it will drain your wallet fast! :D

Welcome to the forum! I happened to find it through the link on the ESEE web site the first time I had looked it over and I've been here ever since.

Welcome here mate. You should have told me it was for your wife's bday, I would have added a bday card with it ;)

Welcome from another ESEE newb. I've always been more of a spydie guy, but I'm definitely lovin' the ESEE stuff, too.

Thank you all for the warm welcome, she loved the Izula :)

Now I just need to decide which colour combo RC4 to order from Monsieur.

Welcome to our little family.

You could not be more right about the service ESEE provides. Best in the business.

Go for the Orange. Its fun.

Welcome to the wonderful madness!
Your friends and family may benefit greatly from your ESEE addiction as well...
if you don't sell off others you own...all of a sudden you have lots of "gifts" of other brands to give away! :)
