Does anyone have one of the MR New Coustille dagger/short swords?

I'd been wanting one for a while but apparently fooled around too long to get one. No one has them in stock that I can find and they're discontinued now.

Just curious what folks thoughts were on it and if they had any suggestions for something similar, but available.

This is the one I was eyeballing:

How about their Oakeshott Type XIV?

It's much bigger. Although I do still like the lines. Much different class than the Coustille though.

What are the stats on the coustille? That might help with tracking something down. :)

Don't quote me on this, but I seem to recall the MRL Coustille had a blade length of around 17"(?) or so. You might want to contact Del Tin to see if they'll sell you a bare blade for their Cinquedea (or better yet, if they have one of their older style cinquedea blades) and have it cutlered to your tastes. Attached is a pic of the old-style Del Tin Cinquedea blade, cutlered by Museum Replicas (back when they were owned by the late Hank Reinhardt), Yuna mini-HARD2 drop-point added for scale (7½" OAL).

MRL Cinquedea: 18" Del Tin blade, 24" OAL. The knife next to it is a Yuna Hard 2 Drop Point, added for scale.
