MS Vista Basic admin password recovery?

My mother has an older laptop with MS Vista Basic. Her account is a normal user account and the password to the Admin account has been lost. Is there any relatively easy way to recover the admin password? She wants to use a new wireless router but, she needs the admin password to enable the wireless network.

I used Ophcrack on 10 or 12 computers at work that were stacked in the server room because no one knew the admin passwords. It went through them like the proverbial hot knife through butter.

You could also make an ubuntu boot disk and google using ubuntu to crack windows passwords
