MSC 6.5, 7.5, Etc... Still Available?

Are the MSC customs still being made and offered? I remember back around christmas people posted some great pics of them, but haven't seen too much conversion regarding these knives lately. I've got some of those pics infront of me...gorgeous lines. None of the dealers or the Strider site have them listed. They weren't a limited time run, where they?

Both Mick and Duane are extremely busy making the standard line of Strider knives right now. Anything that they do as a custom piece is on a hit or miss basis due to time constraints. If they want to make these customs, they have to either take time away from the company's line or use their "off" time. Neither solution is optimal, but they also make more money on custom pieces, so you will continue to see them produce limited runs of their cool guy customs. Plus, who wants to make the same thing all day, every day. Be not afraid, their creative monster will burst loose every once in a while.

IF, some one ordered a custom, what is the lead time right now?

Call the shop for that information. I'm guessing you could get lucky and have what you want soon, OR, you will wait forever.
