Didn't want to tag this to Keven Estralia's review. However, I figured you guys might want to see this weekend's project.

Still a little work to make it smoother, but more an indication of what you can accomplish in a weekend.

Looks good! How do you like the reshaping of the handle? I've been toying with something like what you've done here (cutting down the butt end a bit).

Can you describe the process of cutting off the finger guard? Have you considered an elf choil so you can sharpen the back part of the blade?

I will have 3 MTs by the end of the week and will want to modify them

Damn swonut that is a real nice weekend job. I like the size of handle. I've always been fond of handles that fill the hand and not some skinny stuff.
