The Lodge at night, I seem to have not taken any Daylight pics at all...you can however see the pics outside of the Lodge in the movie "the Shining"

This is what happens when you slip on the Ice and land full force on your elbow.

After bandaging the above, it was time to nurse my wounds in Government Camp at MT. Hood Brewery

The Ax that Timberline touts as seen in the Shining movie, hahaha, not the same ax nor did Jack Nicholas ever step foot in Timberline Lodge...We did request the Shining for movie night in the movie room because my Wife had never watched it.

Well I guess that's about all I have.

Looks like a great trip, thanks for sharing some pics!

Wow those are some amazing photos! Looks like you had a blast  Minus the banged up elbow

Great pics! Looks gorgeous there, I was a little panicked when you were poking your TGLB through the ice,,, would be a shame if it went all the way through and into the lake!

The Ice was around 1" thick and supported my weight easily, but I did stab the ice where it was shallow and near the edge of the lake. I would have gone after it :D

I love Oregon... !!! I have not been to Mt Hood, but driven around the base area. I have friends in Eugene and have visited many times... :D

Great pics as well mate !!!

Cool pictures, thanks for sharing! And congratulations on your marriage. Super cool to visit the "The Shining" hotel and having a brewery on site doesn't hurt at all

Congratulations man. My wife is from Hood River, we spent many pleasant days on Mount Hood, and have a lot of friends and family in Oregon. Beautiful country, thanks for the pics.
