I just received my long anticiapted Microtech Lightfoot Compact Combat. My knife in numbered 0266 and dated 08/2000.
First off, thanks to John at Chief's Cutlery; hell of a guy, eager to please, and very responsive. All in all, exactly what is needed in a knife dealer...and pal.
I will save my "testing" of the knife for Rev's section, but I will tell you this; this is one nice knife. Carbon Fiber contrasts awesome with the beadblast finish. Knife is solid. Clip is interesting...good, but interesting.
Obviously, sharp as anything, srrations are cut even and smooth, and there are no tool markings on the knife. All the things that make a production folder less appealing, this piece lacked. I really think that this is as close as it gets to custom, while still being production made.
Kudos to Lightfoot and to MT...hell of a piece...
