traded for a MT LCC right before xmas and really like it - really a well made, nice, even pretty knife, w/CF handles, ti bolsters and black blade (plain edge) the work manship compares not unfavorably w/my crawford ti kasper, not QUITE as well mmade but a helluva production knife nontheless

my sis in law used mine to pry staples out of a box xmas, and i thought she had scratched the blade coating, not cool, but a little WD40 cleaned it right off, looks fine now

talk about sharp, it is - was pretty sharp LNIB, but REALLY sharp now

came w/a cool sheath and lanyard, use the sheath w/this one, while i usually dont

carries well in pocket too, clip positioned right, etc -

all in all a darned good knife, am currently carrying it and my buck/strider, and feel good about it

have had MT before (SOCOM) but the quality of this knife is head and shouldersd above the SOCOM imho

a good knife for the $$, was pleasently suprised by it, better than expected - try one ya'll like it i promise

They're great knives...especially for the price (I have two). I've heard they recently changed the handle material to something other than CF, not quite sure what though. I also have seen them around lately with aluminum bolsters instead of titanium. I could be wrong but to me it appears that they're using cheaper materials on the latest production knives to increase their profit margin. I'm sure it won't be too long before we start seeing them with 440 series blades.....

From what I've heard, the LCC is being discontinued, or perhaps already has been. I find this most distressing. It seems this knife was universally well-regarded. I don't understand this type of corporate mentality.

The LCC had been, IMHO, one of the best production folders to appear in many years. I did hear, however, that MT may bring it back if there is enough demand.

I believe the LCC is already discontinued. :( The later production models used aluminum bolsters instead of titanium. The aluminum bolsters were anodixed black.

I have one of the titanium bolstered versions. Awesome knife to say the least. These will be hard to come by though so I have reservations about using it.

This knife is probably in my "Top 5" of favorites. Everything about it is perfect for me and my hands. I know when they first came out, they were a "steel", price wise. I should have bought two when they were cheap. I always regret not buying a plain edge model. I guess its not too late, they're not dead yet.
