? MT Socom Elite vs MOD Tempest

hello

i'm considering buying a mt socom elite or a mod tempest, i'd like to know the pros/cons on the different models, im worried that the socom elite will be a little too big and bulky for everyday carry (i dont always wear jeans) and since it's got a bigger blade and all. i'd also like to know the weight of the mod tempest (even their website doesn't tell)

also looking for other general info, what kind of locks do they have, which one is better? any known common factory errors i should look out for (bladeplay, loose screws/clip etc)? also i've seen some people complain about the placing of the clip on the socom elite, is this a big factor of consideration? (that it's too visible)

any other info that i might need before i make a buy? anything i need to check with the company before ordering so i dont have to return it later? do they come sharp out of the box or are they need to be sharpen right away? please give me your advice, appreciate it!

also if anyone got URL's with reviews of any of these models please post.

I own them both and there IS NO comparison. the Socom Elite is the finer EDC. The Tempest is just too small. I have no problem with the quality of any MOD auto's and folders, IMO, they are on par with MT. But the Socom Elite is just a better EDC type knife because it is bigger, and alot easier to hold if your hands are messy.....wolf

thanks for the reply, yeah big is usually better, but is it TOO big? that's my concern, im not used to carry much stuff in my pockets to begin with, a wallet at most, so putting a big folder in there... i dont know.
