Can anyone give me any information on a knife show in Mt. Vernon IL on Nov. 1-2. Is it good show?

Thanks
Tom

It's a knife show; so, if you are close, it will be worth going to.

The show itself, is not huge, but has a decent amount of custom knifemakers, as well as a bunch of people selling parts of their collections. Lots of pocketknives, of course.

I'll be there, since I only live 70 miles away.

Danbo,
Can you shoot me some directions. I might try to show up since I think I'm off of work although I'll be getting off of a night shift:rolleyes:

Hey Matt, you havent even replied to my earlier message, wishing you a Happy Birthday yet! :)

From St. Louis: Get on I64 East for about 70-80 miles and get off at the Mt. Vernon, IL exit. Turn left at the top of the ramp, and go straight until you see the sign for the park(there will be knife show signs as well). Turn right towards the park, and drive into the park. Show will be in the building on the left at the end of the road.

You will have to drive east on the main drag for some distance before the turn south. There's just a little brown sign attached to the stoplight/street pole that says Veteran's Memorial Park (?) if I remember correctly, so you'll have to watch closely for it.

You guys all gonna be there? I plan to be there on Sunday. I'll be the guy carrying a 2 foot long Bowie knife in a nasty looking "scabbard" made of taped up cardboard.
