Hello All,

I thought a fun thing to mention in a post is that Melvin (aka MTF3) drove 6 hours to Kenny Rowe's shop today to personally oversee the sheathing of his three Busse Variants, as well as a few other customs...I called him at Kenny's shop when he was there this morning and he was having a BLAST!!!! He said he is now a sheath maker thanks to Kenny's fine tutelage!!!

Fortunately, Kenny told me he can talk and work at the same time, so Melvin left with the sheaths for his knives by the end of the morning.

Expect pics of his trip sometime tomorrow featuring Kenny and Melvin!!! In the meantime, I'll be expecting Kenny's invoice

Yep, I went all the way to Hope, Arkansas to visit with Kenny and discuss sheathes & knives. Kenny is a great guy and does good work. I got delayed going home and had to make a side trip to Pine Bluff, so I am not totally ready with the pictures.

This is my two Steel Heart Variants laid out with some alligator back pieces for the sheath inlay.

This is Kenny Rowe laying out the sheath pattern for "The Melvin Project." It is going to be an old style Bowie sheath with the belt button.

Here are some examples of Kennny Rowe sheathes. He can make just about anything you desire.

Here are a couple of good looking guys inviting Andy to "Come on Down." Notice I am wearing my Busse Combat shirt and the white tag hanging from the variant is so Kenny can remember which sheath to make for which knife. Kenny ended up with six sheath orders and one pistol holster oreder from my trip.

We also went over to the ABS School at Washington and I have some pictures from that, just not uploaded yet.
