Recently got my comboedge MType.....the good folks at New Graham removed the sticker from the blade :) good thing b/c the factory edge on this one is very sharp (same as my plainedge one) .... the framelock action is (once again) excellent with zero bladeplay. I used a ruler and guestimated the thickness of the blade to be 2.5mm (same for the G-10 scale) and the steel frame/lock is 2.0mm approximately.
Comparison photos are with the Spyderco Adventura and Street Beat; currently my 2 favorite recurves are the MType and Adventura  Another great job by Boker and Chad Los Banos designs

I have two Hyper PS on the way from New Graham. Looks like a perfect EDC/work knife.

Nice pics! I recently picked up a Street Beat. Love the micarta handle, but I think I'll bead blast the handle to give it a bit more grip.

M-Type is a really nice knife. Very thin carry profile for such a large blade!

Excellent work, CLB!

thanks Nakano2 and potterma :)
hey congrats on that Street Beat Michael.....would love to see pix of the handle after you're done beadblasting it ;)

Aloha ALL,

Hey, awesome pics as usual jaislandboy! I am glad you are enjoying the M-Type CE...ya know, I have yet to actually scratch that one? I managed a very thin scratch that is barely visible on my PE M-Type, but that was caused by a slash through a soda can.:o

Gaaahhhhhhhh...why'd the Adventura get 86'd???!!! When it came out with Torx Screws, I thought there was gonna be a sequel to the scales!

God bless and take care bro!
