Well, I just want to say, again, Thank You to Ethan and Ka-Bar for this awesome and extremely handy knife. It stays in my Jeep at all times, and on my belt when in the Great Outdoors.

And just because it is the "smallest" of the big Beckers, it is still a substantial knife.

And a Thank You to my wife, who gave my Skunk a tail

And extremely compact for its size thanks to my Azwelke sheath

It does great with food prep. I've used it on veggies, fruit, and of course meat. Here's some chopped bacon.

Blade is getting nice and dark...

Cool I like the black and white contrast
I,m still decideing if I will stirp my blades or leave them coated you have a great patina starting there.

Thanks! The white liners are a "happy accident", lol. They were supposed to be temporary until I got green liners, but the white liners grew on me so iI kept them.

Wow! Beautiful patina you've got going. The 10 is certainly an awesome addition to the Becker line up and IMHO is superior to the 2 as a woods bummin' knife.

Thanks for sharing.

Black & white looks classy, never really considered this as an option before. I had the chance to put a BK-10 thru its paces a couple of years ago, when I first started out around here. I like it a lot, and I can't think of anything I'd change other than clip to drop point. But that's just opinion--most prefer the clip. So, yeah, you could say that I've got much love for the BK-10 as well.

I've seen some amazing mods here on BF, but I like the clip point and the thumb ramp on my 10. Maybe if I had a 7 or 9 I could see taking the ramp off... I'll have to see if and when I ever get one to find out.
I think the clip on the 10 gives it a "snarl"

Nice looking knife!
Ever thought of modding it with handles and such?
I like the rope braiding a lot!

Funny, I was using my 10 this weekend showing my 8-yr old daughter how to build a fire and started thinking that the 10 may be the most under-rated of the Becker line. Mine performed like a champ splitting wood and making feather sticks and small tinder for the fire. My 2 was the first BK blade I bought, but I haven't used it since getting the 10.

Love your mods! I plan on stripping my 15 (and my 5 when it arrives), but hadn't considered doing so with the 10. I did notice, though, that after the first use, the coating already started wearing off the 10 on both sides where the grind begins. I don't mind knives that look like they been used for honest work, but that surprised me a bit. I didn't baton through that much wood for it already to show that kind of wear. My 9 and 16 have held up to much greater abuse and their finishes are both fine.
