What Swamp Rat Blades have been dipped in the Swamp Mud? I know the M6, Rat Weiler, and Mastiff, but was the Rat Daddy ever offered in a Muddy coating?

And Eric, please drop me a PM or email!

RatMastiff, Ratweiler, M6, and Safari Skinner I believe are all of the Muddy colored Rat's, so far ;)

:D:D

btw, PM sent

I like my Big Black Daddy! He might get muddy but he cleans up pretty good! :D

I think the muddy coating is more of a dark bronze, whereas the tan is reminiscent of plain desert tan.

Color - The tan is lighter in color than the mud.

Big difference? Coating type... The desert is almost a powdercoat feel. It feels a bit like sand paper. The mud is more like the green and/or black coating. Thicker (I believe) than the tan and with more of a latex feel to the surface. It has the same characteristic starburst pattern that we've seen on recent black (and mud) coatings.

Make sense? Probably not... ;) I tried my best. :)

That starburst pattern differs from blade to blade. I have a muddy RW with a smooth powdercoat and the Muddy Mastiff has the Starburst. I asked someone about it one and they believed it might have something to do with where the blade was while the coating was being applied or baked...I don't recall.
