Sorry if the photos are large.. Photobucket sometimes takes a while to down size them

The knife is a tank.. Cuts and slices better than I thought it would... I even lowered the clip which it needed.. Shown in a pic below...
Just got it back today from kershaw.. I sent it in for repair due to bladeplay when i got it new.. Now its all fixed and even better... new front scale too... 2 weeks from my door, well , back to my door.. great timing... Im not sure what to team up with it.. Maybe a Ram? Well there is not much that can be said that already hasnt.. But if any one has any questions , just ask...

So far , my favorite knife of all time.... And I will sure to have this thing somewhat customized by the end of winter...

Fixed the Clip, you can see the original holes and how much it had to be dropped

Nice pictures, saw the knife but not the beer, so I guess you had already had consumed it...

I just had a chance to handle one, and if I was to get a heavy duty folder It would be this one. Just because of the quality and the price compared to other brands.

Now for some questions-

The clip seems to wrap around the end of the knife. How did you lower it? Did you have to cut into the scales and Re-tap mounting holes?

What are the scales made of?

The knife is very thick, Is it pocket friendly for carry? Or would it be better for maybe sheath carry?

Thanks and enjoy-

Yes... The beer was gone... and the pictures were the mission...
As far as being pocket friendly.. yes it is.. More so, now that the clip has been lowered... I also added a lanyard... And sanded under the end of the clip.. So its not wicked hard to get out of the pocket any more... Honestly, as long as you dont wear skin tight pants its fine... I can fit my whole hand in the same pocket easily with a standard pair of jeans... So really.. Its really up to you... But I feel that it carries perfect..
As for the clip..
Look at picture number one.. Down where the clip is... You can see the original hole above the screw that secures the clip... That shoes you how much it dropped from the original hole... The clip is held on by sliding into the frame as shown in the pic.. To fix this... I had to grind down the insert part about an 1/8 inch to slide it in deeper and then move the hole about the same amount.. Just barely touching the original hole.... So if you decide to get the MUDD... I would gladly do it if you were not able to..
Its just a ridiculous knife... So built.. Everyone I have shown it to is really stunned and cant believe the quality...

Hope this all made sense ... if not ask away...

Hey TC, good job on the MUDD clip! I did the exact same thing on mine and lowered it down between the "ears". Gave it a much more secure feel.

Shoulda doused it with beer to make sure it was liquid proof.
Well, I did manage to spill some beer on it.. along with whatever else was on my coffee table... And she held up fine...
I assure you, this thing will be put through its paces very soon...
And thanks for the help Thomas

Both that and now it actually pulls out of my pocket every time.. Instead of eating my pants.
