Y'all probably already saw this, but wanted to post it here (and the Swamp) out of enthusiasm:

and he says:
I was told this was made for one of the helicopter evacuation units. The serrations will take care of any type belt or strap.

Any other variants like this out there? I guess it's technically a Dog...

That's the first variant I've seen. I'd like to see a shorter variant without the choil and serrations.

It was a military over run as stated for air evac team . These were released at KC Spring 2014

(Sorry, links to active sales arent allowed in discussion, and it wasnt needed for the sake of discussion.)

Thanks for the info. I included the link just to direct others to the sellers pics. I'll go modify my swamp and yard threads...

No problem. Not trying to give you a hard time either:thumbup:

I picked up a few if youd like to know anything else about it as did others that should chime in.

Its basically a mud mutt with teeth and the CEV.

Those casualty evac guys are some tough dudes. Glad to see that they got a knife that can handle whatever the job requires.

Those are some tough looking little knives. I'm glad I got the chance to see them at Knob Creek. I really like the looks of them. Congrats to anyone who scored one of these awesome knives.

Well... How many were made? To Garth (probably should be to Dan over on the Yard), think we'll see more of these popping up? I'm not usually one for serrations yet I have no trouble using serrated blades for all manner of work around the property, including carving wood, and these serrations are, like most Bussekin, apparently built for durability as the grind angle is a little more steep. Any shots of this sucker in action?
