Muddy brown with Black G10....Anyone?

I think this would be a sweet combo for a sword. AK47 muddy brown/ black g10. I checked in the color combination vault, with no luck. Does anyone have this color combo and if so would you please share some pics? I also think desert sage with black g10 would be a great combo for an AK. I would also like to see one of those. I have decided to buy a second AK47 instead of getting a grab bag. Now I gotta choose the combo.
Any pics of this combo ( on any blade)
Would be greatly appreciated.

Sold this a while back or I would take a better picture for you, Muddy Brown/Black G10 looks very good in person.

It's a sweet combo. Pretty much everything looks great with black g10 though. Remember seeing pics of a cutom shop AK in midnight & black a while ago that was pretty awesome.

I saw that midnight/ black g10 AK somewhere. It was cool! I almost got that combo on my first AK. I ended up going with Midnight and Maroon micarta.

I don’t have pics of either, so I’m no help in that regard. I only have a Muddy Brown/Tan Micarta and a Desert Bronze/Green G10. I really like both finishes. If you haven’t seen them in person, I’ll say that that Muddy Brown is more of a matte finish compared to the Desert Bronze. When the Bronze is out in the sunlight, it really shines. Almost looks golden. The color combo thread has a couple examples of Desert Bronze/Black G10, as does the 2019 grab bag thread. Looks pretty handsome. I also think both would also look great with Maroon Micarta. Good luck with you purchase, and show us what you get!

I placed my order.... I really like the muddy/black g10 TG that Boru13 shared, but I went a different direction. I have a muddy/bloody Rucki and the Midnight/maroon AK. Both are darker color combos. I went with a lighter combo for my new toy....
Desert Sage with Tan/Black g10.

I got the muddy/black combo on deck if I ever get another Rucki;)

I just showed my fiancé your wedding picture. To my surprise she said “ cool! We should do that!” Looks like we will be borrowing your idea. Hopefully my new AK47 arrives before the big day. It should, wedding isn’t till Memorial Day. Thanks for the cool idea- David Brown.
 
Might want to verify your color selection with the lady, too. She might want it to match the wedding colors, or be a combination of both of your favorite colors, or just hate what you picked. Also, congrats!

Edit : Now that I’ve had a minute to think about it, I think you’ll need two. The one you’ve already ordered as a user, and a ceremonial blade to commemorate and use at the wedding.

I wear the pants! :D
She has final say on 99.9% of wedding related decisions. Now when it comes to sword selection. That is where I draw the line.


I’ll probably run it by her. ;)
